If you work for a French company, whether you are French or not, you might need some help with your French in your everyday professional life. As a French employee you deserves the right to have a 20-hour per year program to help you develop your profesionnal abilities. This programme, known as "DIF" (Droit Individuel à la Formation" is a French Continuous Training Scheme encouraging all employees under local permanent contract (CDI - minimum 1 year in the company) or under short term contract (minimum 4 months in the company) to benefit from 20 hours /year or 120 hours over 6 years.
